Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots is a casual tap-and-spin game where each reel is themed around a different legend, from frost giants to desert travelers. You line up symbols, collect fragments, and gradually unlock new reel sets with their own art and little animations. The whole thing is designed to be picked up for a few minutes at a time, and it respects that habit well.
Controls are about as simple as mobile games get: one large button to spin, a swipe to switch between the worlds you have unlocked, and a small menu for your collection. What kept me coming back was the collection side. Finishing a themed set triggers a short cutscene and opens the next region, so there is always a tidy sense of progress even in short sessions.
It will not challenge you the way a strategy game does, and that is fine. Legends of Slots knows what it is: a relaxed, colourful time-filler with pleasant sound design and a steady drip of new things to look at. I enjoyed the themed worlds more than I expected, and the animations give each unlock a bit of weight.
