Tideborn Empires

Tideborn Empires is a slower, thinking-person's strategy game. You build port cities, chart trade routes, and expand across an archipelago while weather and rival fleets keep interfering with your plans. It rewards patience far more than aggression.

The best system here is the weather. Storms reroute your ships and can wreck a careless convoy, which forces you to plan shipping lanes with real care. Once I started reading the weather forecasts before committing a fleet, the whole game clicked.

It is not the flashiest strategy title on mobile, and the early tutorial is a bit dry. Push through it, though, and you get a satisfying economic puzzle that plays well in both short and long sessions.
