The charm is in the detail. Villagers have little routines, the day-night cycle changes the light on the water, and seasonal events give you a reason to check in regularly. It is the kind of game you leave installed for months and open whenever you want something calm.
Progress can feel slow if you play in long bursts, since it is clearly tuned for short daily visits. Taken on those terms, it is one of the more comforting sims on mobile.
