Laying Out a Happy Tiny Harbor Town
Tiny Harbor Town has no fail state, but a messy layout will quietly slow your growth. After scrapping and rebuilding my village twice, I settled on a simple approach that keeps everyone content.
Keep homes close to the dock early on, since most jobs and deliveries start there. Shorter walking routes mean happier villagers, and happier villagers unlock new buildings faster. Spread out only once you have the resources to support it.
Save a little open space near the water for seasonal events. They pop up regularly and need room to place temporary structures, and I hated having to demolish houses just to fit a festival stall.
Most of all, play it slowly. This is a game for a quiet five minutes each day, not a marathon. Treated that way, watching the town fill out over weeks is genuinely soothing.
